ALTIC Epoxy Floor Coating is a high-performance, two-pack, solvent-based flooring system formulated using modified co-polymer chemistry. It is engineered to provide superior mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and anti-skid protection for various flooring surfaces such as concrete, metal, and wooden substrates. Developed under the brand ALTIC Paint and manufactured by Ugam Technology, this coating ensures long-term durability and visual appeal even under the harshest environmental and industrial conditions.
The product creates a hard, glossy, semi-smooth protective layer that shields the substrate against weathering, moisture, chemical exposure, and physical impacts, making it an ideal choice for both interior and exterior industrial applications.

Recommended Coating System
-
Primer: Apply one coat of ALTIC Anti-Skid Epoxy Primer with a minimum film thickness of 100–120 microns.
-
For aggressive environments, use ALTIC Guard-Meta Primer for enhanced adhesion and corrosion resistance.
-
-
Topcoat: Apply one or two coats of ALTIC Epoxy Floor Coating depending on the severity of exposure and finish requirement.
Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation ensures strong adhesion and long coating life.
For Concrete Surfaces:
- Ensure the substrate is fully cured, sound, and clean.
- Remove oil, grease, dust, curing compounds, and sealers.
- Prepare as per SSPC SP13 standards using mechanical or chemical cleaning methods.
- Repair cracks and voids before coating.
For Metal Surfaces:
- Blast clean to SA 2.5 with a roughness profile of 30–35 microns.
- If blasting is not possible, prepare manually to achieve St 3 grade surface.
Application Conditions
- Application Temperature: 10°C – 40°C
- Relative Humidity: Max 90%
- Surface Temperature: Minimum 3°C above dew point
- Avoid Application: During rain, fog, or mist
- Ventilation: Ensure proper airflow during and after coating application
- Spray Equipment:
-
-
Tip Pressure: 1500–1800 PSI
-
Tip Size: 0.44–0.70 mm
