How It Works

The polyurethane-based formulation integrates UV absorbers and infrared reflective agents to provide comprehensive radiation shielding. These absorbers intercept high-energy light waves, dissipating them before they can cause structural or aesthetic damage. Simultaneously, hydrophobic molecules align to form a moisture-resistant surface barrier. This dual-action system ensures both optical and physical protection, reducing heat buildup and material degradation.


Surface Preparation & Application Method

  1. Surface Preparation:

    • Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, and loose particles.

    • For metal: Sandblast or wire-brush to remove rust or scale.

    • For concrete: Wash thoroughly with water; let it dry completely.

    • For plastics or painted surfaces: Clean with a mild detergent solution.

  2. Application Procedure:

    • Stir the base thoroughly before use.

    • Mix with appropriate thinner (if required) to achieve desired viscosity.

    • Apply the coating by brush, roller, or spray in thin, even layers.

    • Allow to air dry for approximately 4 hours between coats.

    • Full curing occurs within 48 hours at room temperature.

  3. Recommended Coating Thickness:

    • 35–45 microns per coat is sufficient for long-term UV and corrosion protection.


Storage & Packing

  • Storage: Store in a cool, well-ventilated area below 35°C. Keep container tightly closed.
  • Shelf Life: 12 months from date of manufacture if unopened and stored properly.
  • Packing Size: Available in 20 kg MS drums.

  • Ensure adequate ventilation when applying indoors.
